Timeline for Preparation and Mission

4/25(Sun): Students and Parents Informational Meeting

5/2(Sun): Group Meeting #1. 12:30pm. Study on "Our Mission."

Turn in "Student Participant Preference Form."

Distribute "Participant Journal" and "Participant Form."

Hand out "Dress Code," "Tentative Schedule for the Mission Week," and "What to Bring Checklist."

Hand out copy of the "Mission Field Map."

5/4(Tue): Pre-Project Visit to Cadiz by youth pastor.

5/9(Sun): No weekly meeting due to Mother's day service at Warner Park.

5/16(Sun): Group Meeting #2. 12:30pm. Study on "Daniel's Accountability Team."

5/23(Sun): Group Meeting #3. 12:30pm. "Church Planting in Philippi."

5/30(Sun): Group Meeting #4. 12:30pm. "Delivering the Message."

6/5(Sat): 7:30pm. Witnessing Training Workshop for Korean speaking congregation lead by Rev. Jason Kim (Representative from the North American Mission Board).

6/6(Sun): 11am. Commissioning Service (Guest Speak: Rev. Jason Kim). Charge to youth short term missionaries, Presenting Commissioning Certificate, and Prayer of dedication.

6/12-18(Sat-Fri): At the Mission Field, Cadiz, Kentucky

6/20(Sun): Testimonies and follow-up.

Mission Objectives

Our church including 9 other churches are helping planting churches for small town and military family at Cadiz and Oak Grove Kentucky. We will work alongside church planter on ministry teams that will be involved in servant evangelism, survey work, Nursing Home ministry, Vacation Bible School, sports camps, block party, and more.

Nursing Home Ministry Team

Provide ministry / support to residents and workers at the home.
Assist in special activities.
Lead door-to-door survey / evangelism of designated areas.

Survey / Evangelism Ministry Team

To gather accurate, useful information on prospect families for Living Waters Fellowship.
To provide a positive witness in the name of Living Waters Fellowship.
To continuously be in a state of prayer while surveying.
To attempt to share the Gospel message if an opportunity exists.

G-Force Vacation Bible School Ministry Team

Provide an outreach VBS experience for the elementary age children of Crossroads Fellowship.
Provide a Gospel witness to said children and their friends.
Lead door-to-door surveys / evangelism of designated areas.

Barkley Manor Bible Club Ministry Team

Provide an outreach Neighborhood Fun Club (Bible Club) in the Barkley Manor housing area.
Provide a Gospel witness to children and adults in that area.
Lead door-to-door surveys / evangelism of designated areas.

Neighborhood Bible Club Ministry Team

Provide an outreach Neighborhood Fun Club (Bible Club) in the Oak Grove neighborhood park / play area housing.
Provide a Gospel witness to children and adults in that area.
Lead door-to-door surveys / evangelism of designated areas.

Soccer Ministry Team

Provide an outreach sports ministry in an Oak Grove park. This ministry will follow after a neighborhood Bible club on the same site.
